A unique British Indian partnership

In a rare and exclusive collaboration, Radio School founder, Rod Lucas has signed a tie up agreement with India's only National Broadcasting Academy. Rod Lucas says "This is a unique association that shows our British Radio School will offer the highest standard of Radio Training not only in the UK but India too. India has started a massive radio growth period with the government recently licensing thousands of new stations, and they all need fully trained presenters and producers. I'm very much looking forward to this unique collaboration." Rod Lucas will become Chief Radio Training Consultant and will hold advanced Radio Training sessions in India.

The other half of this radio connection is Hardeep S. Chandpuri, Founder & President of Academy of Broadcasting India. He says "We're delighted to have teamed up with The British Radio School and to have Rod Lucas join us and to share his wealth of broadcasting knowledge which will make us India's première broadcasting academy."

Rod Lucas is a presenter and producer working for BBC Radio 5, TalkSport, LBC Radio (London), BBC Radio 1 & BBC Radio 2. He's also a TV Director and makes films and programmes for TV in the UK and mainland Europe. He also runs English speaking music and talk stations in Spain with plans to open Talk Radio Spain.
