Rod Lucas at The Radio School for a Core 2 course, former Radio
School student Karen Davey has now been appointed the new co-host on
The Breakfast Show at Bolton FM 96.5 FM. Read Karen's comments on

Former student Ben Salinas now working at
99.8 KCC Radio (Liverpool). Ben's now on the new daily Lunchtime
Show. Also Former Radio
School student Andrea Manning set for new radio show on English
station Valle Radio, Almeria Spain 98.9FM. (Jan
2010). Rod Lucas is often asked by radio stations to
recommend students for possible radio presenting and producing
positions.
Rod Lucas and The
Radio School had a big success of getting people real radio
presenting jobs in 2009 too. After his training at The Radio
School former student Brett Whittaker was selected
to present the Breakfast Show on the new Wayland FM (Norfolk) 107.3. We're also delighted that
student Pete Ashton has
joined radio station Calon FM 105FM (Wrexham North Wales). He's now
presenting the daily Lunchtime Show. Another success in 2009 was
Richard White who is now a freelance presenter for The Local Radio
Company (North Yorkshire). All trained by radio presenter coach
Rod Lucas at The Radio School.

DJ Courses are based in Staplehurst
Kent UK. We're close to London with
excellent road and rail links to the rest of the UK and mainland
Europe. Our broadcast training courses are used by both newcomers and established

1 to 1 RADIO PRESENTER TASTER SESSIONS £175 (no vat) The Radio
School also offer Radio Presenter Taster sessions 1 to 1
with radio guru Rod Lucas. You'll work a broadcast mixing control
desk, playing songs and presenting some basic programme
elements like traffic, weather, requests and
what's on etc. You'll work on different digital play-out
software systems too.
You'll also get a really good idea of whether
you want to make a career into radio presenting.
Rod
will also offers help, guidance and advice. Radio
Tasters can also be done online via Skype. You'll take away a short CD sample of your recorded radio show. Call

The Radio School provides three
main different radio broadcast training courses: Core One (3 levels) for beginners that have no
technical or radio presentation experience: Core Two (3 levels) designed
for those with limited radio experience and who want to move on. Core Three
(3 levels) for fully and semi-professional broadcasters
wanting an advanced training course.

radio presenter (radio DJ) training courses, is sent an in depth course report detailing their
broadcast training course
performance. If you pass your radio course you'll also be
awarded The Radio School Diploma of Broadcast Achievement. We aim to complete all
radio courses with a programme showreel demo CD of your
broadcast performance for marketing your skills. All of these
items will be most valuable when presented to 3rd parties when
applying for radio presenter broadcast and media jobs.
