Feb 2010: Former
Radio School student Ben Salinas now freelancing
including 99.8 KCC Radio (Liverpool). Rod Lucas is often
asked by radio stations to recommend students for
possible radio presenting and producing positions.
Rod
Lucas and The Radio School had a big success in getting people real radio
presenting jobs in 2009 too. After his training at The Radio
School former student Brett Whittaker was selected
to present the Breakfast Show on the new Wayland FM (Norfolk) 107.3. We're also delighted that
student Pete Ashton has
joined radio station Calon FM 105FM (Wrexham North Wales). He's now
presenting the daily Lunchtime Show. Another success in 2009 was
Richard White who is now a freelance presenter for The Local Radio
Company (North Yorkshire). All trained by radio presenter coach
Rod Lucas at The Radio School.

1 to 1 with radio guru Rod Lucas. You'll work a
broadcast mixing control desk, playing songs and
presenting some basic programme elements like traffic,
phone ins, weather, requests and what's on etc. You'll

radio presenter (radio DJ) training courses, is sent an in depth course report detailing their
broadcast training course
performance. If you pass your radio course you'll also be
awarded The Radio School Diploma of Broadcast Achievement. We aim to complete all

broadcast performance for marketing your skills. All of these
