(Jan 2010) After seeing Rod Lucas at The Radio School for a Core 2 course, former Radio School student Karen Davey has now been appointed the new co-host on The Breakfast Show at Bolton FM 96.5 FM. (Jan 2010) Former student Ben Salinas now working at 99.8 KCC Radio (Liverpool). Ben's now on the new daily Lunchtime Show. Also Former Radio School student Andrea Manning set for new radio show on English station Valle Radio, Almeria Spain 98.9FM. (Jan 2010). Rod Lucas is often asked by radio stations to recommend students for possible radio presenting and producing positions.

Rod Lucas and The Radio School had a big success of getting people real radio presenting jobs in 2009 too. After his training at The Radio School former student Brett Whittaker was selected to present the Breakfast Show on the new Wayland FM (Norfolk) 107.3. We're also delighted that student Pete Ashton has joined radio station Calon FM 105FM (Wrexham North Wales). He's now presenting the daily Lunchtime Show. Another success in 2009 was Richard White who is now a freelance presenter for The Local Radio Company (North Yorkshire). All trained by radio presenter coach Rod Lucas at The Radio School.
